Trader Vic’s is pleased to announce that Nicola Abbattista is the new General Manager at our highly successful location at the Crowne Plaza in Dubai.

Nicola has worked in the hospitality industry since 1987 in a wide range of positions including Commis de Rang, Chef de Rang and Maitre d’ to General Manager. He is a graduate of the Professional Institute Hotels & Hospitality Industry in Bari, Italy; he also holds a degree in Food & Beverage Administration.

We feel fortunate to have Nicola with his long and varied experience in the industry as General Manager of this important operation.

Joining Nicola at the Crowne Plaza is the new Assistant General Manager Karim Belgnaoui. Karim began his career with Trader Vic’s in 1998 in Japan and worked behind the bar at several of our locations, including London and Beirut. He has extensive experience in the hospitality industry and has worked at several five-star hotels, in addition to being the Restaurant Manager at The Grill Room in England. Karim is a great addition to our management team in Dubai.
