ocated at the front of the Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers, this stalwart of Abu Dhabi nightlife now assumes its rightful place as one of the Capitals' finest places to dine.

The Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers opened the restaurant in April 1994 and there can be few residents of the capital who have not enjoyed the unique style and flavors of Trader Vic's. In fact, such is its popularity, tables are a prized commodity on many nights and reservations are essential.

In April 2001 Trader Vic's relocated to it's present front side location within the Beach Rotana Hotel. This restaurant is larger with fewer nooks and crannies to hide away in, but a vast collection of canoes and other South Seas paraphernalia and the ambiance is just as favorable for a great lunch or dinner.

Retaining the Polynesian style and décor the restaurant centres around its unique Chinese oven, dating back to the Han Dynasty. The oven, with it soaring temperatures, is essential to so many of the dishes offered at Trader Vic's. A larger cocktail area leading in to the dining room will greet guests, with the familiar woodcarvings and aquariums still playing a major role in creating just the right ambience. Friendly and roomy, the Mai Tai bar is an ideal place to sit and chat while sipping on one of the house specialty cocktails. Happy hour is from 5 till 7 p.m.

Trader Vic's atmosphere is enhanced with acoustic tunes by our resident Cuban band.
