eñor Pico Mexican Restaurant was created by Victor Jules Bergeron, the world-renowned restaurateur known as "Trader Vic", in 1965 at Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco.
On December 31st 2000, Señor Pico opened its doors at the Hotel Intercontinental Muscat. The decor is a design of modern Mexico. We created a luxurious long Bar recreating the Cuban Bars of the fifties. The whole concept is a bit more Latin, and in terms of cuisine and cocktails, having a widest selection of dishes and drinks from different countries of South America. The entire room is very warm colored and decorated with traditional Mexican handcrafts creating a unique atmosphere and ambience.
Our commitment, the same as its founder Mr. Bergeron, is to provide the finest food, drinks and service in the early Californian and Mexican tradition.
Food
Señor Pico offers a range of south of the border antojitos (appetizers) such as Guacamole, Taquitos, Quesadillas, Nachos and more. At Señor Pico, you can enjoy a tempting variety of traditional Mexican dishes including Fajitas, Enchiladas, Carne Asada, and a large selection of vegetarian dishes catering to all tastes. Our new menu features specialties like the "Espetadas", succulent meat skewers charcoal grilled serve at your table in a very South American tradition.
Cocktails
Señor Pico has its own special recipes. Most drinks are based on fresh fruit and juices along with a splash of lime juice in addition to the alcohol. Our most popular drink is the Margarita, following Senor Pico's secret recipe. Even though it has a strong alcohol taste, it is so smooth. We also include Latin all times favorites like the Pisco Sour and the Cuban Mojito to offer a wider selection and range of flavors.
Entertainment
The atmosphere is enhanced by the Mexican Mariachi style duo, delighting you daily (except Fridays) performing all the classics tunes from South American as well as Latin rhythms such as Lambada, Cha Cha Cha and Cumbia. We invite you to join them and show your dancing skills. Late night, the latest international hits will come from our resident Disc Jockey.
