rader Vic's Palo Alto offers a virtual tropical escape in the midst of the bustling Silicon Valley. Located on the lush grounds of Dinah's Garden Hotel, this Polynesian-inspired paradise is a relaxing venue for dining, cocktails, and special events and is appreciated by both locals and visitors from around the globe.

Our Executive Chef offers an exotic menu with European, Chinese and Polynesian influences. Specialties include wood-fired oven delights from the Han Dynasty-style oven such as the Pork Chop Hawaiian with Maui Onions Marmalade and the Indonesian Rack of Lamb with Curried Singapore Noodles and Calcutta Chutney.

Throughout the restaurant is a collection of unique and authentic pieces from the private collection of Dinah's Garden Hotel owner Raymond Handley, an avid world traveler and rare art collector. The San Francisco architectural design firm, Architecture & Light, created a space that remains true to the Polynesian theme while incorporating elegance and comfort.

The restaurant recently opened the Mai Tai Lounge, where guests can experience the tastes of Trader Vic's in a more casual atmosphere. The lounge menu features appetizers and small plates that are idea for sharing with friends. Tropical plants, authentic Tiki masks and artwork from the South Pacific are all around. Antique Chinese wood-carved screens with dragon motifs accent a cozy back room that overlooks a shaded veranda. The lounge is especially lively on Thursday nights, when a Brazilian jazz and samba ensemble performs.
