ore than 30 years ago, United® served the first inflight meals featuring Trader Vic's cuisine. Beginning August 4, 2006, travelers will again savor the award-winning cuisine and worldfamous cocktails of Trader Vic's onboard United. The reintroduction of this legendary fare onboard United celebrates this long-term partnership, one of the first between an airline and restaurant.

United First® and United Business® travelers on all mainland flights to and from Hawaii will find tempting Polynesian-inspired lunch and dinner selections. Start with Trader Vic's signature Mai Tai and a fresh garden salad featuring the Trader's own Javanese dressing. Choose from Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi, Trader Vic's barbecue glazed short ribs or Pan-Seared Chicken with Miso Sake Sauce. Then indulge in an ice cream sundae smothered in Trader Vic's praline sauce.

Also beginning August 4, United Economy® travelers on most United and Ted flights of five hours or longer can experience the exotic tiki cuisine of Trader Vic's restaurants specially designed Trader Vic's salads and sandwiches, such as a Maui chicken sandwich or a sesame chicken salad, all accompanied by a selection of fresh seasonal mixed fruit will be available for purchase through the Buy on Board program.
